Level 2-3 IT Technician - Cloud Azure

I'm currently looking for a network and cloud systems administrator for one of our customers. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, hybrid, based in Montreal. Salary varies according to experience ($70,000 to $75,000). Your duties will include : * Provide user support - Level 2 incidents * Ensure optimal performance, scalability and profitability of infrastructure (cloud and on-premise) * Implement best practices in cloud cost management, operational efficiency and network security * Analyze Azure usage patterns and optimize resources to reduce costs without affecting performance * Perform regular audits of cloud infrastructure to identify optimization opportunities * Respond to infrastructure incidents and alerts, coordinating with offshore support teams to minimize downtime * Document incident responses, root cause analyses and preventive measures to improve system resilience * Degree in information technology, computer science or related field (or equivalent experience) * 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position * Certifications in Azure, cloud infrastructure or network administration (an asset) * Good knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, WAN, LAN, firewalls * Bilingualism in French and English (international and pan-Canadian company, some employees are English-speaking only) The company offers a competitive salary, benefits (group insurance, retirement savings), flexible working conditions and 3 weeks' vacation.
