Salesforce Developer (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & Field Service Cloud) Required: Contract Details:

• Day Rate: Up to £550 per day

About the Role Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their team on an initial 6–12 month contract. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project, focusing on enhancing and upgrading their Salesforce platform, which underpins critical business operations, including work and stock management. Key Responsibilities Cloud Expertise:

• Develop and enhance solutions within Sales Cloud , Service Cloud , and Field Service to meet business objectives.

Custom Development & Coding:

• Deliver high-quality custom development using Apex , ensuring robust and maintainable code.
• Review and adapt existing flows to align with evolving business needs.

Enhancements & Upgrades:

• Lead the development of upgrades and enhancements to existing Salesforce implementations.
• Take ownership of individual segments within larger projects to ensure successful delivery.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage tickets and deliverables while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously when required.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders to maintain alignment with business goals.

Testing & Documentation:

• Perform rigorous unit testing to adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Utilise tools such as GitHub , Jira , and Confluence for documentation and workflow management.

Optimised Solutions:

• Balance the use of custom development with Salesforce’s out-of-the-box functionality to avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Employ a pragmatic and efficient approach to solving technical challenges.

Skills & Experience Required The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong proficiency with Sales Cloud , Service Cloud , and Field Service (all 3 are ESSENTIAL)
• Extensive experience in custom development using Apex .
• A proven track record of delivering upgrades and enhancements to Salesforce platforms.
• Expertise in evaluating and optimising Salesforce flows to meet business needs.
• Familiarity with work and stock management processes , ideally within the waste management or utilities industries (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks with a disciplined approach to testing.
• Proficiency in tools such as GitHub , Jira , and Confluence for version control and project management.
• Experience working in an Agile/Waterfall hybrid environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
