We have an exciting opportunity for you as Bakery Cook to join our enthusiastic pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. As a Bakery Cook, you are responsible for providing professional and customer-focused service to our guests, ensuring that dining in our outlets will become a memorable experience. The role involves leading the operations of the Pastry Kitchen and will include key responsibilities such as:
- Take full responsibility for the bakery kitchen section.
- Create high-quality and creative bakery products.
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the Executive Sous Chef to complete the daily tasks.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with new bakery recipes and preparation techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation and actively take part in bakery setup of buffets and special functions.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections regarding requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
- Consult and check on daily bakery requirements, functions, and last-minute events.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene within the bakery kitchen.
