We have garnered multiple global and local awards, including the esteemed title of Most Innovative Laundry globally in 2022 by CINET Milano.Washmen is hiring a remote Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in backend to join our team. It's a team of young, talented, and passionate technology enthusiasts with a strong interest in innovative web technology. We are currently expanding our teams to take on new challenges as we grow.Skills and QualificationsCandidates should be located within 2 hours of the Dubai time zone.7+ years of relevant work experience.Solid experience in NodeJS, AWS, & ReactJs.Expertise in solution and software architecture and design.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.Proven track record of writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, scalable code.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate openly within a team environment.Experience in React Native and TypeScript is a plus.Responsibilities and DutiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust software applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.Implement efficient and scalable solutions while ensuring code quality and performance.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest standards of code excellence.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into our development processes when applicable.Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Benefits and PerksJoin a talented engineering team within an inclusive and supportive culture-growing organization.Enjoy Public Holidays as per the UAE government announcement.Receive 22 paid vacation days and 15 paid sick days.Access a wide range of learning resources and tools.Skills and AttributesWork Ethic: At Washmen, our motto is "work hard, play hard."
