Senior Civil Engineer - HQ - Engg. & Biomedical DeptJob DescriptionStudy and assess drawings, plans, specifications, and other documents relating to construction projects, ensuring they run as per identified specifications.Understand and apply the engineering concepts, practices, and theories in project design, development, review, and construction and their potential environmental and safety impact.Initiate and ensure standard civil engineering discipline in drawings and plans to integrate all civil engineering aspects fully.Perform due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.Prepare cost estimates, drawings, calculations, risk assessment plans and specifications, feasibility studies, permit applications, and other technical reports.Oversee all project stages, from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs, including cost estimations and preparation of project budgets.Collaborate and interact with project developers and consultants to review work schedules and assignments based on project plans to manage and control projects regularly.Lead and direct onsite construction teams, engineers, and skilled personnel by directing work assignments, scheduling, and reviewing the work in progress to ensure project delivery on time and with the required quality.Manage deliverables on time and within the budget, handling projects and their requirements to ensure compliance with standard processes, policies, and procedures and meeting quality and timeline metrics.Analyze EOT (Extension of Time) Claims in coordination with the support team.Coordinate with all support team members (Electrical, Mechanical, IT, etc.) as needed to ensure the availability of resources and project requirements for quality, quantity, and delivery.Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades, ensure that the quality records are in place and maintained in coordination with the project manager and Dubai Health management.Control and monitor design changes, design budget deviation, and quality audits under agreed procedures and timescales.Deal with any actual or potential problems with resources, liaising with the project manager where necessary.Regularly participate in project meetings to discuss and resolve significant problems.Inspect completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.QualificationsBachelor degree in civil engineering8 Years For non-UAE nationals with at least two years as a senior civil engineer.3-5 UAE NationalsJob CategoryAdministrationAdvertiserDubai HealthEducational-levelBachelorRequired NationalityAll Nationalities (Priority for UAE National)Monthly Salary10001-20000Schedule-TimeFull timeJob Posting20/01/2025Unposting Date27/01/2025
