We have openings for top talent across different levels (junior, mid-level and senior), and across various markets including: Battery Metals, Carbon, FFA Dry, FFA Gas, FFA Wet, Fuel Oil & Gas, Iron Ore Swaps, Options Dry and more!What you'll be doingDaily contact with clients and colleagues providing market insight and trade ideas.The arrangement and execution of trades on behalf of clients.Build and develop strategic relationships with key clients and prospects, and act as lead negotiator in high-level contract discussions, ensuring customer success is paramount.Drive revenue and develop client base.Keep abreast of market intel and trends.Assist with due diligence and approval of new clients, and brokerage level agreements.Conduct reviews of processes to identify and manage risk.Attend team meetings to discuss commercial performance and compliance updates.Understand the business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.Identify and introduce new clients to the market and maintain professional relationships.Perform market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.Travel and attend client social events where required.Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.What we're looking forWe invite applications from candidates who can demonstrate:Drive and self-motivation, with the desire and commitment to succeed, deliver excellence and make positive change;Relationship building, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport;Collaboration, able to work well with others across diverse backgrounds to share information, develop skills, and deliver results;Resilience with the ability to persist and adapt;Smart problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a curious and inquisitive mind, and an openness to new ideas;Professional integrity and a respect for company values.Other requirementsSuccessful track record of commodities broking1-10+ years commodities broking experienceExcellent communicator and personable, able to build effective relationshipsStrong commercial judgement with excellent negotiation skillsGood numeracy skills and excellent presentation skillsHigh focus on accuracy and attention to detailGood MS Office skills
