Reporting Automation Product Owner - Tier-1 Financial Institution

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Product Owner for the Reporting Automation product, guiding the development of automation solutions for regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications.
• Lead and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of reporting automation solutions.
• Apply Design Thinking or User-Centered Design principles to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the reporting automation platform, making adjustments as necessary to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including compliance, IT, and business units, to ensure seamless integration of the reporting automation platform.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Approximately 8 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with experience in driving IT automation projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Agile development practices and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Design Thinking or User-Centered Design is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Experience with reporting automation tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with data management and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
