Assistant Material Planner - Based in Senai, Johor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed material planning schedules. Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements. Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory audits. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory storage and movement. Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and report on material usage, inventory levels, and production performance. Utilize ERP systems for accurate and up-to-date material planning data. Generate regular reports for management review. Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Resolve any issues related to material quality or delivery timelines. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability.
