Knowledge Analyst / Research Analyst - Power Markets & Renewable Markets Experience Essential Location: Gurugram, India Hybrid Working Model Competitive Market Rate Paritas are partnered with a leading global Energy Research client who is expanding their growing business operations to the Indian market. They have grown to become the largest dedicated power market analytics company in Europe, providing data-driven intelligence for strategic decisions in the global energy transformation. This position suits candidates with experience working in the energy or financial sectors, who possess some experience in power market analysis in India or another country. Your role will be to help analyse and forecast the Indian power market, supported by proprietary energy market models and analytics software. You will work on policy analysis and investment economics for renewables and other technologies and engage with a client base. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute analysis and research to develop the view on renewable and conventional assets.
- Analyse and understand policy outcomes across India’s energy sector.
- Work with the modelling team to develop views on the future of the Indian energy system.
- Communicate findings to a wide range of clients, in-person and online.
- Contribute materials to reports, notes and client communications.
- We will consider candidates who have experience at a major consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or other knowledge-focused firm or institution.
- Degree from a top University - IITs etc
- Proven ability to organise and manage their own time.
- Proven ability to interpret and derive insight from complex quantitative data and information.
- Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset, and desire to grow the business.
