Job Summary: Responsible for managing the production of quality products at the right cost and delivered within the agreed times, along with managing and coordinating the shift and employees. Responsibilities

Assist the Production Manager in planning and organizing shift employees to achieve daily production targets.
Monitor and ensure that all personnel adhere to work instructions and procedures.
Assist in the production process for different processing lines of meat & seafood.
Increase employee morale and handle queries of shift workers regarding personal health-related matters, accommodation, and yearly leave requests.
Ensure processing staff adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Monitor attendance and employee time management, ensuring weekly timesheets are correct.
Participate in the maintenance of operational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and regulatory guidelines for all activities.
Ensure customer service levels by producing quality products within the agreed timeframes.
Coordinate with the Quality Team to ensure customer complaints are investigated and corrective actions are completed.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out on all equipment and that operators have the necessary training regarding preventative maintenance and operations.
Perform any other assignments as required by the Production Manager.

People Management

Ensure employee development through training, mentoring, and providing skills development.
Increase employee morale and handle queries of shift workers regarding personal health-related matters, accommodation, and yearly leave requests.
Ensure processing staff adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Monitor attendance and employee time management, ensuring weekly timesheets are correct.
