IntroductionTo lead the new business team to deliver new business in identified target markets and categories, and through a solutioning approach deliver maximised revenue growth (short and long run) and sustainable profitability.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management of New Business to achieve:Revenue and profit targetsImplementation of strategies to drive industry-based modelsRelationships with key customersRelationships with key suppliersUnderstanding of market trends including systems, processes, geographic impacts and competitor activity to ensure the strategy remains relevant and effective.Capex forecast and justificationSetting and measuring budgetsWorking closely with Commercial and Supply Chain functions to define the business case and ensure that customer requirements are met at least cost.Desired Experience & QualificationDegree in Business-related area or similar quantitative discipline is essential.Miller Heiman Sales Methodology CertificationNegotiation, sales and customer service experienceExtensive experience in sales team set up and developmentA high level of customer focusExcellent time management, and an ability to manage complexityA highly developed ability to cope with pressureStrong relationship building and influencing skillsStrong ability to analyse and develop insight for logistics or related industriesService or solution related experience is a plus (e.g., Distribution, Transport & Logistics, FMCG & Supply Management)
