Role summary The National Concert Hall (NCH) is seeking suitable applicants for the role of Programme Planning Executive. We are looking to recruit an outstanding individual to become a core member of our Programme Planning Team, which brings together artistic programming, working with promoter partners and artistic collaborations. It is at the centre of driving NCH's concert programme. The overall purpose of the role is, working as part of the team, to ensure the smooth operation of the administration, communication, and delivery of NCH's programme output. Reporting to the Head of Programme Planning, the candidate will be responsible for managing contracts with partners, ensuring smooth information flow from Programme Planning to other NCH departments and supporting the delivery of NCH's programme outputs. Key Responsibilities The Programme Planning Executive will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Managing contract administration with artists, agents, partners and promoters
- Supporting the administration and delivery of NCH classical and chamber music programmes
- Supporting the smooth delivery of concerts and events
- Managing concert information on NCH's diary system, Artifax
- Managing and distributing concert and production information between NCH and artists/agents and across NCH teams
- Liaising with and between promoters, agents, partners and NCH teams
- Supporting artist, partner and promoter relationships
- Working cross-departmentally on NCH programmes
- Supporting the Programme Planning team as necessary in a dynamic arts context.
- To undertake any other duties which may be reasonably required.
- 2+ years arts administration experience
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- High attention to detail
