The role of the Law Searcher/Admin Assistant will be part of a team where you will be tasked with carrying out searches and providing reports to clients. The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail and strong organisation skills which they will utilise to meet strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately carry out conveyance and debt searches for our clients in the legal and financial sector.
- Managing multiple tasks covering a broad range of law searching and administration duties.
- Searching registers both manually and online (e.g., judgment, bankruptcy, planning, Registry of Deeds, and Land Registry).
- Managing a high volume of client inquiries with accuracy by telephone and email, adhering to strict deadlines in line with our clients' SLAs.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and submit reports.
- Manage queries and complaints – speed/quality of resolution.
- Correspondence with customers and clients effectively and efficiently via email and telephone.
- Searching online at Registry of Deeds, Land Registry, Judgments, Bankruptcies (full training will be provided).
- Compiling and issuing reports based upon search results.
- Some out of office work attending the Central Office of the High Court, Planning Department, and Registry of Deeds.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous administration experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Can self-manage and display a high level of organisation.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage/prioritise workflow to meet strict deadlines.
- Able to work on-site from our Dublin office 4 days a week.
