At The K Club we are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Food & Beverage Supervisor to join The Palmer Restaurant Team. - Assist with the supervision of the F&B team regarding all aspects of food service to ensure the agreed standards of presentation and service are maintained.
- Ensure that our function rooms are set up to the required standards in a timely manner.
- Report to Management any difficulties encountered.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a hygienic manner and that the work area has excellent hygiene standards.
- Work in conjunction with F&B Management to identify training needs in the department and implement training when necessary, providing corrective coaching when needed.
- Work closely with the Kitchen, Front Office, and Sales team to ensure open channels of communication at all times.
- Monitor food being served from the kitchen to ensure any problems are dealt with before reaching the guest.
- Establish and promote excellent relations with guests, ensuring their expectations are always met and leading the team by example.
- Assist with organizing the daily work assignments for all F&B personnel and allocate stations and duties as appropriate.
- Attend the weekly operations meeting and monitor any changes to the function sheet on a daily basis when necessary.
- Assist in the smooth running of functions across the Resort when necessary.
- Previous F&B Supervisory experience.
- Experience in a 5* property is advantageous.
- Ability to develop a good rapport with clients and represent both The Palmer and the Resort in a professional manner.
- The ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
