The Firefighting Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire protection systems. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and safety teams to ensure compliance with fire safety codes, regulations, and best practices in various industries, including commercial, residential, industrial, and public sector projects.SkillsBachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Approval from UPDA & QCDD.Proven experience in fire safety system design, installation, and maintenance.Professional certification in fire protection engineering (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)).In-depth knowledge of fire protection standards, codes, and regulations.Familiarity with fire safety software and system design tools.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.Experience with fire risk assessment and hazard analysis.
