We are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in supervision projects to join our team. As a Project Supervisor specializing in restoration, you will oversee the execution of structural restoration initiatives, ensuring compliance with design standards, project schedules, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in structural engineering, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successful project management. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise structural restoration projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met within established timelines and budget constraints. Manage and coordinate project teams, including structural engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, maintaining regular communication to address concerns, provide updates, and manage expectations. Implement quality control measures to ensure that structural restoration work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications, conducting regular inspections and reviews as necessary. Provide technical guidance and expertise in structural engineering principles, materials, and methodologies, resolving technical challenges and design issues as they arise during project execution. Maintain accurate project documentation, including structural drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established constraints. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with structural restoration projects, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions and delays. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, structural engineering standards, and other applicable laws and regulations governing structural restoration projects. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Professional licensure as a Structural Engineer (SE) is required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural restoration projects, with a focus on project supervision and management. Strong technical expertise in structural engineering principles, analysis, and design, with experience in both historic and modern construction materials. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) and other relevant engineering tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, structural engineering standards, and other regulatory requirements applicable to structural restoration projects. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
