An Organisation based on the east side of Galway is searching for an experienced assistant accountant to join their organisation for a 12-month contract. The role is busy, and the individual will need to have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where they assisted a financial controller. Your new role:
- Management accounts
- Weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Liaise with multiple department heads
- Bank reconciliation
- Assist Financial Controller with budget & audit reviews
- Weekly payroll
- Assist with the AR/AP function where necessary
- Management of stock price files for retail stores
- Reconciliation of purchases on accounting and till systems
- Other reports/adhoc duties as required
Your experience:
- 5+ years working within accounts; 1–2 years within an assistant FC role is desired but not required
- Accounts technician degree
- Accounts prep/month end management accounts
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
