What you will do The Metro Asia Corporate Channel Planning Lead is a pivotal role responsible for the coordination and execution of channel plans and customer activities across the Metro Asia region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills to ensure alignment and efficiency in planning and executing activities that drive channel performance and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: Channel Plan Coordination: Lead, develop and manage comprehensive channel plans in collaboration with the MA Channel Lead. Take responsibility for development, coordination and execution of central market plan activity for deployment markets (HK, TW, SG and MY) in partnership with the market GMs. Ensure alignment of channel strategies with overall corporate objectives and regional goals. Build, coordinate and execute Metro Asia commercial innovation (including activity packs, bonus bundles, in-store events, consumer promotion activity). Directly engage with regional customer contacts in cross-market customers, primarily AS Watson, Dairy Farm, and Costco. Own development and deployment of cross-market activities. Monitor and adjust channel plans based on performance data and market feedback. Customer Activity Execution: Lead the execution of customer activities across the Metro Asia region, ensuring consistency and effectiveness. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to deliver high-quality customer engagements. Track and analyze the impact of customer activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with regional and local teams to ensure cohesive execution of channel plans and customer activities. Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and regional teams to align strategies and objectives. Facilitate regular communication and reporting to key stakeholders on progress, challenges, and successes. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of channel plans and customer activities. Generate detailed reports on channel performance and customer engagement metrics. Identify opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Budget Management: Oversee the budget for channel planning and customer activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures and provide regular updates to the MA Channel Lead on budget status. What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in channel management, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on planning and execution. Proven track record of successfully coordinating and executing channel plans and customer activities at a regional level. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Highly organized with strong project management capabilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
