School: Nord Anglia International School Dublin EARLY YEARS AND PRIMARY PHE TEACHER Location: Dublin, Ireland Academic Year: 2025/2026 (Starting August 2025) Nord Anglia International School, Dublin is looking to recruit a PHE Teacher with PYP & MYP, to drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of Physical Education. - Drive excellent teaching and learning by delivering dynamic and engaging PHE lessons that promote physical activity, health, and well-being, tailored to the developmental stages of PYP and MYP students.
- Engage and interact as the school ambassador to the community through sports events, health initiatives, and wellness programs that foster a positive attitude toward physical education and healthy living.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary units of inquiry that integrate PHE into broader learning experiences across subjects.
- Provide individualized support to students, encouraging them to reach their full potential in physical fitness and health awareness.
- Organize school sports activities, tournaments, and extracurricular clubs, promoting teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.
- A recognized teaching qualification and experience teaching Physical and Health Education at the PYP and/or MYP levels.
- A deep understanding of the IB curriculum, with a passion for promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being in a school environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage school sports programs and lead students in a variety of physical activities.
- The ability to create an inclusive environment that motivates students to participate actively, regardless of their physical abilities, fostering a positive attitude towards lifelong physical activity.
- Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school, communicating with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students.
- Ability to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment as well as meet visa-related restrictions for Ireland.
