About Our Client
My client is one of the biggest insurance company in the region with strong presence across the world.Job Description
- Collaborate closely with Business Units, Vendors, and Product teams to ensure high-quality testing aligned with Company QA standards.
- Take charge of testing processes, including test case creation, execution, result analysis, defect management, and reporting.
- Assist the leader of Quality Engineering Assurance in overseeing testing activities within projects, adhering to the Company QA framework.
- Drive the implementation and improvement of testing frameworks, evaluate success metrics, and enhance team proficiency in testing tools and processes.
- Outline and oversee the Test Strategy for system implementation projects.
- Play a governance role, ensuring compliance with the Company QA Framework and SDLC by establishing and monitoring quality assurance metrics.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 8 years of experience leading and managing testing teams for large-scale projects.
- Deep understanding of the insurance or banking industry.
- Proven track record in overseeing testing in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect tracking, utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Proficient in addressing various testing concerns such as test data management, policy implementation, risk mitigation, and test design.
- Familiarity and experience with DEVOPS/Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Azure DEVOPS is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of non-functional testing areas such as Performance Testing and Automation Testing is a plus.
- Preferably holds certifications such as ISTQB - CTFL or ISTQB - CTAL.
