Manager NOC Automation Support is a critical managerial role responsible for driving automation initiatives to meet the rapidly evolving business needs of the organization. This includes planning and executing Enterprise Service Management (ESM) platforms across the organization, managing the budgets for the stream, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Stream Head - Network Operations Center, this role oversees a team of 8 direct reports and plays a pivotal role in shaping NOC’s automation strategy. What does Manager NOC Automation Support do?
- Budget Management: Plan, execute, and align with stakeholders to manage all NOC-related budgeting activities effectively.
- Enterprise Service Management (ESM): Oversee the ESM portfolio and associated applications, including platform operations, customizations, rollouts, and innovations. Develop and implement solutions that serve both internal stakeholders and external customers while coordinating seamlessly with partners and consultants on functional and technical aspects.
- EMS Administration: Manage and maintain EMS platforms to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, operational continuity, and efficient performance.
- Sustainability Management: Ensure the sustainability of operations from a functional, technical, and people perspective by implementing robust processes and maintaining a future-ready team.
- Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to the team by fostering professional development, creating shadow roles, ensuring skill-building opportunities, and supporting the general well-being of team members.
- Proven hands-on experience in managing cloud-based and on-premises ITSM and digital workflow platforms such as ServiceNow and Atlassian.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration and developing talent.
- Exceptional conflict resolution and analytical problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively.
- In-depth understanding of technology platforms, including their architecture, operations, and integration.
- Strong grasp of ITIL processes, frameworks, and related industry standards to ensure alignment with best practices.
- BS (Computer Science, Software Engineering), BE (Electronics, Electrical, Telecoms) or related Qualification.
