Job Overview The Multi-Branch Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations across multiple grocery branches and managing picker teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment. This role involves regular branch visits, effective partner coordination, and process optimization to maintain high operational standards and meet customer expectations. A valid driver's license is recommended for branch visits. (Some Of) What You Will Be Doing
  • Multi-Branch Operations Management
  • Supervise day-to-day grocery operations across multiple branches, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor order volume, inventory levels, and branch-specific operational challenges to proactively address bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to manage high order volumes, staff shortages, or other operational disruptions.
  • Conduct routine branch visits on a defined schedule to assess operations, resolve issues, and maintain consistency.
  • Team Leadership & Scheduling
  • Lead and coach picker teams across branches, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to operational standards.
  • Design work schedules tailored to branch requirements, factoring in order volume, picker skills, and local challenges.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and training to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Motivate and engage team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory & Order Fulfillment
  • Collaborate with inventory specialists and merchants to ensure product availability and timely updates.
  • Monitor the order fulfillment process, identifying and resolving branch-specific issues from picking to dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management protocols to minimize out-of-stock incidents and order inaccuracies.
  • Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
  • Analyze branch-level KPIs, including order speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare detailed reports on branch performance metrics, including weekly evaluations of picker teams and brand-specific sales data.
  • Maintain effective communication with branch teams, merchants, Live Operations, and senior management.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Operations Manager, ensuring timely resolution.
Attitude matters most but do you have any of these
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within a fast-paced warehouse, retail, or grocery environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficient in planning, scheduling, and managing multi-branch operations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (preferred).
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the grocery industry, including food safety and handling standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with team members and partners.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate branch visits and partner coordination.
