Joinery Supervisor

As a Joinery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the joinery department. This includes supervising craftsmen, managing projects, ensuring quality standards are met, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Estimating material and labor
- Monitoring acquisition and use of materials
- Overseeing joinery production and managing the team
- Ensuring that all products are of high-quality and meet the required standards
- Implementing quality standards throughout the production process
- Ensuring all projects are completed on time
- Expertise in joinery production and carpentry
- Experience in managing a team
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and technical drawings
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with local and international safety standards
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory role in furniture or joinery production
- Expertise in using joinery and carpentry equipment such as CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with different types of wood and their characteristics
- Understanding of carpentry and furniture making processes and techniques
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
