Service Sales Engineer (Elevator & Moving System)

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, respond to and win modernization projects, including identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, negotiating with potential customers, and building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Propose, negotiate, and secure down payments from customers.
• Oversee job details throughout the sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts, and tracking to completion.
• Initiate the sales installation process by working directly with field management on projects and coordinating activities and information related to ordering and installation of the equipment.
• Participate in ongoing project management activities, including site visits and project management meetings.
• Collaborate interdependently with service sales and operations to ensure customer needs are met.
• Provide support to the after-sales manager in answering product queries to meet customer requirements.
• Review and discuss everything with customers regarding quotations and contracts; generate quotations.
• Ensure smooth conversion of free maintenance offers into maintenance contracts.
• Follow up on maintenance contracts and renewals.
• Follow up on lost service contracts with customers.
• Attend meetings with customers.
• Follow up on other brand elevators.
• Prepare quotations for repair and improvement works.
• Handle invoicing, billing, and collection follow-up for maintenance and repair work conducted.
• Support the renovation offering.
