PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our client, a well-known residential developer based in Cork. This is a permanent position that is offering an excellent remuneration package. All projects are based in the general Cork area. Company Overview: Our client, a well-known residential developer, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects and is committed to excellence and innovation in the construction industry. Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential projects in the Cork region. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources. Identify and manage potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the company’s quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and building codes. Conduct regular site inspections and oversee quality control processes.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project status. Address client concerns and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders. Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the residential construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional certification in project management (PMP) is an advantage.
