About the job Commercial Lawyer / Capital Markets Commercial / Capital Markets Lawyer - Sydney Is your goal to work in a supportive environment with a passion for the intricacies of capital markets transactions? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a small yet leading team in Sydney. In this role, you will play a key part in advising clients on a broad range of capital markets transactions, working alongside a team of talented lawyers and industry experts. About You Experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team, specialising in capital markets transactions (equity offerings, debt capital raisings, derivatives, etc.) would be highly desirable. Strong understanding of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulatory framework. Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working in a team environment and a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines. Experience with public M&A transactions or ECM transactions will be highly regarded. Proficiency in legal document management systems and relevant legal research databases.
