About the Role: Position: Cinematic Animator Location: Vancouver, BC Summary: We're Hiring: Cinematic Animator Are you passionate about bringing characters and creatures to life through stunning animations? We're looking for a Cinematic Animator to join our team and create breath taking cinematic experiences for our players and audience! Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create realistic and believable character/creature animations using a mix of key-frame and motion capture techniques.
• Collaborate with the Animation Lead to implement the creative direction of our product.
• Deliver high-quality body and facial animation assets with precision and speed.
• Work on animation tests, previs, layout, and final shot animation.Assist with motion capture shoots and define technical requirements.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience creating high-quality character and creature animation.
• Proficiency in key-frame animation and motion capture workflows .
• Experience with realistic human and facial animation .
• A strong grasp of body mechanics , timing , weight , and composition .
• Proficiency in Maya (preferred) or MotionBuilder .
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve problems creatively, and raise the animation quality bar.
• A technical understanding of animation pipelines and tools is a big plus.

Portfolio Requirement: A link to your reel showcasing realistic body mechanics and facial animation (preferably using real references). Industry Experience: We’re seeking candidates from industries like games, feature animation, visual effects, mobile games, or feature films . Salary Range: $90000 - 98000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
