A leading mining company is seeking a Senior Director, Technical Services to help shape the technical strategy and support sustainable, efficient operations across its portfolio. In this critical leadership role, you will: ✅ Oversee mine planning , geotechnical engineering , and resource modeling for multijurisdictional open-pit operations. ✅ Provide strategic guidance for feasibility studies , mine optimization, and life-of-mine planning. ✅ Collaborate with site and corporate teams to ensure operational goals align with long-term strategy. ✅ Develop and mentor a high-performing technical team to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. Your Expertise: 🔹 Demonstrated leadership experience in mining technical services, with a focus on base metals and open-pit operations . 🔹 Proficiency in mine planning software and geotechnical tools . 🔹 Strong background in long-term strategic planning and feasibility studies . 🔹 Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field (P.Eng or P.Geo preferred). 🔹 Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
