Company Description L&H is a new age full-suite brand strategy & creative services agency that specialises in always-on channels like social media and O2O communication. We are Delhi / Bombay based with clients pan india and few in the USA. With clients like Lenskart, Ferns N Petals, Zomato, P&G, Times Of India, Harvard Business Review, Hyatt Hotels and the coolest D2C brands, we are excited about being the next breakout agency in India + building a steady roster of clients overseas. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Director of Business Development at Life & Half. The Director will be responsible for PNL, scaling our company to cross 75cr in next 2 yrs, business planning, lead generation, contract negotiation, and account management. The role is based in New Delhi with flexibility for some hybrid work. Role Overview

  1. Business Growth & PNL:
  • Cultivating a robust pipeline of new accounts and leads in the industry and exceed the sales targets - this year alone we want to cross 30 cr in revenue while maintaining solid margins and cash flow.
  • Increasing our service portfolio overseas through newer products like design staffing, AI design copilots, and other design products.
  • Liasing with company overseas to supply dark store model design services.
  • Crafting and executing a strategic roadmap to drive the company's mission, bolster revenue, enhance profitability, and overall growth.
  • Creating and providing customized solutions to key clients in the tech, auto, finance, luxury and lifestyle space during the pitching stage.
  • Developing structured sales strategies, sales plans, and profit targets and weekly / monthly analysis
  • Deliver individual and team targets – annual revenue and gross profit targets
2.Existing client success management:
  • Assuming P&L responsibility and serving as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying & capitalising on emerging business prospects while effectively addressing any operational challenges internally.
  • Innovating strategies to penetrate accounts with our diverse service offerings such as social media, campaigns, video, branding design, website design, staffing, AI branding experiences and more.
  • Overseeing client management and operations to ensure seamless execution, quality, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Cultivating and nurturing client relationships to expand business with existing clients
3.⁠ ⁠Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create strategies tailored to marketing industry.
  • Collect market Insights on competitor activities and market developments and align business strategies based on market inputs.
  • Consistent client feedback to identify weak areas for drive long term retention
KRAs:
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to contract implementation
  • Creating, enforcing, and publishing new business project plans and timelines when responding to RFIs, RFPs and presentations to prospective clients
  • Managing the production of RFPs & presentation process from kick-off to submission, including scheduling team meetings, check-ins, follow-ups
  • Gathering appropriate content for proposal use and helping to maintain repository of RFP responses and reusable content
  • Working directly with strategy, finance, legal, and creative teams to deliver new business opportunities
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Negotiating the sale up until closure and handover to implementation
  • Conducting wash ups for every pitch and sharing learnings
  • To execute a sales strategy for market penetration. This will involve creating a suitable database and targeting potential clients accordingly.
  • Gauging a clear understanding of the client’s requirements and communicating the detailed brief to the internal departments.
  • Striking alliances, sponsorship deals, media packages and barters for L&H Intellectual properties
  • Driving the emailing and content marketing team
  • Ensuring a smooth transition to the client servicing team once contract is signed.
Eligibility
  • 5-8 years of experience in a sales role, preferably with advertising experience / knowledge
  • Come with an established network of Marketing & Procurement connections in medium to large size businesses
  • Should come with a strong understanding of the market and dealt with Senior Management across the auto, luxury and lifestyle spaces.
  • Experience working in digital marketing, media or ad-tech industries
  • Proven track record of sales achievements within the advertising industry
  • Experienced with management of sales teams and targets
  • Versatility to manage different stakeholders and industries
  • Experience with RFPs and their general sales cycle preferable
  • Fantastic presentation, networking and relationship building abilities
  • Commercially astute – apt at building commercial solutions and forecasting profitability
  • Able to prioritize leads and maximize revenue via sales pipeline control
  • Face to face and sales experience including negotiation and pitching
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Strategic, consultative and solution-based sales approach
  • Excellent document creation / sales deck capabilities
  • Independent and proactive with strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a time pressured environment, and thrives on overcoming challenges
