Office/Project Location: Cork City Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: Office Based Pay: Salary Negotiable Experience: 2+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is a leading Cork based engineering, project and design firm. They provide a range of developments from small to multimillion-euro projects in the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hotel & Leisure, Education and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil & structural engineering with a focus on structural design and analysis with circa 2 years+ experience in a similar role, who is looking to grow and be mentored by a chartered engineer, to aid them to become chartered.
Responsibilities:
- Site Visits
- Managing Budgets
- Client Communication
- Deal with technical enquiries from internal and external customers
- Prepare structural calculations
- Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters
- Technical presentations
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2 years+ minimum experience in a similar role
- Full Irish Driving License – preferred but not essential
- Living or relocating to Cork
- Local knowledge of Cork area and/or experience with an Irish firm a distinct advantage
