Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Engineer to lead and manage critical aspects of cost analysis, tender procurement, and time schedule management for our projects. Reporting directly to Idan Sade, Director of Engineering & Design, the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in engineering, project management, and procurement, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Cost Analysis:
- Conduct detailed cost analyses for various projects to ensure budget optimization.
- Prepare cost estimates and evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Review and validate financial projections, budgets, and expenditure forecasts.
- Lead the preparation, issuance, and evaluation of tenders in compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Assess supplier proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to milestones and deadlines.
- Identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategies.
- Utilize project management tools to track and report progress.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports, including progress updates, budget analyses, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement, scheduling, and cost-related activities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cost analysis, tender procurement, and time schedule management.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion with focus on luxury hospitality projects .
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost analysis software.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes, procurement laws, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are an advantage.
