Cybersecurity Engineer

• Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.

• 3-5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with demonstrated skills in managing SaaS cloud security solutions.
• Strong technical acumen with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with other cloud services.
• Practical experience in integrating security practices into DevOps (DevSecOps).
• Expertise in application security best practices, including but not limited to OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure coding standards, and software development lifecycle security.
• Familiarity with automated security testing tools and techniques.
• Relevant certifications such as GCP Professional Security Engineer, OSCP, or similar, will be highly regarded.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role.
• You have working knowledge of application security, security testing, penetration testing, google cloud platform, cloud security solutions and DevSecOps
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
