About the team This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. The SBA focuses on understanding the end-to-end business analysis process, from requirements gathering to solution implementation with the assistance of the other teams in RIA. You will aim at successfully leading requirements workshops, conducting stakeholder interviews, and performing thorough analysis to drive informed decision-making and project success using agile methodologies. There is a focus on building efficient working relationships with the teams we interact with to ensure smooth delivery of the business objectives. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of projects in the directorate as well as assist in the day to day operations of the delivery team. About you: a solid understanding of, and experience within, the NSW Workers Compensation, CTP or Home Building schemes is desirable proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including SQL, Snowflake experience with data visualisation tools including Microsoft Power BI (reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations) familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) knowledge of process modeling techniques, such as BPMN proficiency in requirements management tools like Jira (including service management) and Confluence strong Agile methodology / project delivery (Scrum, Kanban) familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (Salesforce) understanding of relational databases adept verbal and written communication skills (including presenting / showcasing / meeting management) the ability to own delivery requests through strong business analysis organisational skills and strong attention to detail manage unclear requirements, difficult customers and resolve conflict and issues as they arise competence in gathering / writing technical specifications, business requirement documents, and organising high volume work.
