The Job Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical oversight of a project from conception through installation and completion.
2. Review hour estimation for work based on needs analysis scope of work and bid requirements.
3. Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings calculations and acoustical modeling.
4. Identify and address technical or logistical impediments to delivering scope of work.
5. Identify special requirements for project including but not limited to: test equipment, specialized tools, and rigging support.
6. Test audio DSP or video processing systems software required for system functionality.
7. Provide engineering support to project installation team when needed.
8. Provide technical oversight on commissioning of systems both in-house and on-site.
9. Meet with current/prospective vendors to help evaluate products.
10. Provide weekly project updates for clients.
11. Responsible for monitoring project budget.
12. Design wall plates and overlays.
13. Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed.
14. Provide engineering and control system programming support to project installation team when needed.
15. Coordinate with Project Manager to assist with securing the necessary personnel for installation.
16. Support Project Manager in project hand-off to the installation team when needed.
17. Provide Project Manager documented test results from system testing and commissioning.
18. Review project designs created by internal and external resources and submit to CAD department.
19. Ability to travel to various job sites required.

3. Proficient with test and calibration equipment.
4. Support user acceptance testing.
5. Ability to program change and troubleshoot (AMX/Crestron).
6. Ability to diagnose complex system problems.
7. Advanced computer skills as required for the design configuration and operation of AV equipment.
8. Ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines.
9. Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues.
10. Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
