Description:

The Principal Consultant will oversee delivery teams and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. In this role, you will provide intellectual leadership by structuring and clarifying deliverables while ensuring projects stay on schedule. As the main client contact, you will lead negotiations for any client-requested changes to deliverables or timelines. This is a front-line, client-facing role, requiring excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus) and the ability to manage challenging clients in face-to-face meetings.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead the analytical work for all assigned project deliverables, while supporting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in enhancing the quality of presentation materials.
2. Serve as the lead consultant in delivering face-to-face presentations to clients, explaining the technical outputs created by SMEs and analysts. You'll need to craft clear, compelling arguments to support the outcomes of your analysis and defend your conclusions.
3. As the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for on-time delivery, leading and delegating tasks within the team, assigning work to experts within billable hours, and providing regular project updates to partners. You’ll also manage the project’s profit and loss (P&L) and ensure that client quality expectations are understood and met.
4. Conduct research by gathering intelligence and data on markets, industries, products, countries, technology developments, and other relevant inputs for client deliverables or internal studies.
5. Analyse data using established methods such as benchmarking, comparative analysis, and SWOT/PESTLE.
6. Develop Excel models for business case analysis, financial analysis, cost and price analysis, network deployment economics, and regulatory analysis.
7. Lead and contribute to the production of business collateral, including white papers and client presentations.
8. Maintain a flexible approach to work and travel, manage your time effectively, and demonstrate high personal standards with close attention to detail.

Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in a consulting/professional services firm, or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
3. Good understanding of communication technologies, such as fiber, HAPS, LEO, radio, and subsea (expert knowledge not required).
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office & G Suite.
5. Excellent verbal and written English skills; other languages are a plus.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
