Make an Impact by: Formulating strategies and action plans for selected verticals to drive Singtel’s growth areas, such as 5G, Multi-Edge Access (MEC), Software Defined Network (SDN), Quantum etc. Driving new sales and partnership engagements and expanding market share. Leading a team to work with various Account Managers (AM) from Government accounts to drive growth product revenue targets and market share, as well as mindshare in the selected vertical. Leading, shaping, and capturing mindshare and market share in areas of EAG’s focus, talent acquisition, and ecosystem partners. Working closely with Government agencies to support selected verticals in terms of grants/supply of talents into the industry. Formulating an ecosystem of partners for selected verticals. Formulating a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy together with selected verticals to approach companies for co-creation/development of use cases and projects. Leading new business presentations and proposals, and working with product house, delivery teams, solution specialist team, presales, and account sales teams to foster cross collaboration as well as partnering with 3rd Party Solution Providers and/or partners to drive and execute on the GTM plans. Supporting alignment within Singtel, selected verticals, and partners on product strategy and GTM. Supporting internal expansion strategy for Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) and talent pool within Singtel. New Business Generation Providing leadership for business development with selected verticals to align with Singtel strategies to drive new growth. Leading virtual teams across various key internal stakeholders to bring together and explore viable solutions and appropriate responses to tender/RFI/RFQ/CFC requirements. Working with various internal teams to formulate value propositions and product positioning to create differentiation. Executing lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate adoption. Cultivating and maintaining relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans, and value propositions. Contributing to business development and marketing strategies by participating in quarterly, annual, and ad hoc planning discussions. Market Development/Thought Leadership Keeping abreast of key trends affecting the business – new development in the government sector, progress of commercial enterprises, and development in the market environment specific to IHLs. Creating alignment both internally and externally for win-win outcomes for Singtel, IHLs, Government, and partners. Possessing strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve pain points. Exhibiting strong critical reasoning skills; able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives. Skills for Success: Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science with 5 or more years in sales or business development experience. At least 10 years of working experience in the Telco/ICT industry. Experience in working and driving solutions with Partners and Solution Providers. ICT/telco knowledge preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint). Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write, and succinctly communicate our value, strategy, and proposed solution on client opportunities. Technical and/or operational background with experience managing projects. Self-driven, aggressive, and energetic. Resourceful and creative. Possessing strong leadership skills. Able to self-motivate and work independently. Able to communicate and collaborate effectively. Able to project a strong, positive image of self and Company. Able to do strategic planning. Meticulous and responsible with strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work well under stressful situations with tight timelines. Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
