Job Description: Associate Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company on a range of legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to mitigate legal risks.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to inform business decisions and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed for litigation and regulatory matters.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations and ensure necessary updates are made to company policies.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance matters and participate in board and committee meetings.
• Support dispute resolution efforts and manage legal claims as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a legal counsel or in a similar role within a corporate setting.
• Experience in the interior design or construction industry is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and drafting complex contracts.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and corporate governance is highly desirable.
