Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced AI 3D Reconstruction Texturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage AI and machine learning techniques to develop and enhance 3D models and textures for our web platform. You will work collaboratively with data scientists, 3D artists, and software engineers to ensure high-quality, visually stunning, and performant 3D assets that enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI-driven algorithms for 3D reconstruction from 2D images and video streams.
- Apply advanced texturing techniques to enhance the realism of 3D models, using both procedural generation and AI-based methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine the aesthetic and technical aspects of 3D assets.
- Optimize 3D models and textures for efficient loading and rendering in web environments.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure that reconstructed models and textures meet quality standards across different devices.
- Stay current with industry trends in AI, computer vision, and 3D graphics to inform development practices and techniques.
- Document processes, algorithms, and best practices to maintain quality and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong expertise in AI and machine learning, particularly in applications related to computer vision and 3D reconstruction.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript, with experience in relevant libraries (e.G., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with 3D modeling and texturing software (e.G., Blender, Substance Painter, Maya).
- Solid understanding of web technologies and 3D frameworks (e.G., Three.Js, Babylon.Js) for deployment in web environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with photogrammetry techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of data streaming protocols and optimization techniques for real-time applications.
- Experience in game development or virtual reality environments is a plus.
