AR / Collections Manager Ballymount, Dublin 12 Permanent Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 Hybrid Working My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager on a permanent basis. Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Strong staff management / supervisory skills are required for this role. A good working knowledge of Excel is required. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management of customer queries, including but not limited to the management of customer financial communication in respect of invoice and statement queries, pricing queries, master data changes, ensuring all related customer queries are dealt with promptly.
  2. Route key account queries to credit control and relationship management team.
  3. Create new customer accounts, issue statements and perform general AR administrative tasks.
  4. Oversee the processing of invoices, credits, billings, settlements, and preparation of statements.
  5. Process dispute / deduction adjustments and write-off balances, once agreed with business and finance management.
  6. Perform reconciliations, ensuring sub ledgers reconcile to General ledger for month end reporting.
  7. Supervise the work of a team of dedicated AR Associates and identify areas and processes for improvement.
  8. Provide the environment for the team to achieve and sustain best practices in effectiveness, quality delivery and efficiency within a strong internal control framework.
  9. Ensure that overall delivery of services meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  10. Assist internal and external auditors with all information and feedback requested.
Key Skills:
  1. 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, supervisory experience preferable.
  2. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  3. Familiarity with financial accounting concepts such as DSO.
  4. A self-starter highly motivated with a continuous improvement focus.
  5. A fast learner, open to new ideas and an ability to engage fully with all business operations.
  6. Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  7. Excellent planning & organisation skills.
  8. Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
  9. Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
