We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and personable Assistant Concierge to join our team at Crowne Plaza RDC. The Assistant Concierge will support the concierge team in delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring that each guest experiences the highest standard of hospitality. This position is ideal for someone passionate about providing personalized, detailed service and eager to assist with a wide range of guest needs, from booking reservations to arranging special experiences. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist guests with a variety of inquiries and requests, ensuring personalized and efficient service.
  2. Provide recommendations for dining, entertainment, activities, and local attractions based on guest preferences.
  3. Make reservations for dining, spa treatments, transportation, events, and tours.
  4. Arrange for transportation, such as taxis, private cars, and airport transfers, ensuring timeliness and comfort.
  5. Handle guest requests for special accommodations, amenities, or services, such as flowers, gifts, or tickets.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local events, attractions, and activities to offer current and relevant suggestions to guests.
  7. Respond to and resolve guest concerns or issues in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring satisfaction.
  8. Assist with VIP guests or special group bookings, providing them with tailored services and attention.
  9. Collaborate with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services, to fulfill guest needs.
  10. Maintain and organize concierge area, ensuring all information and materials are current and easily accessible.
  11. Uphold the hotel’s standards of quality, privacy, and confidentiality in all guest interactions.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a concierge, front desk, or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of the local area, including attractions, dining options, and events.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Concierge Management System) is a plus.
