JASARA PMC is seeking a Governance Specialist to aid in the development and implementation of governance frameworks that promote compliance and ethical practices across all levels of our organization. In this role, you will assist in coordinating governance activities, ensuring that processes are followed while providing administrative support to governance initiatives. This position will play an essential part in maintaining transparency and accountability in the execution of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of governance policies and procedures.
  • Support the governance team in monitoring compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Help in preparing and organizing governance-related documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to governance and compliance.
  • Assist in conducting research on governance best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of governance activities and documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and adherence to governance standards.
  • Support the identification and investigation of governance-related issues and help implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and advice on governance matters.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and review risk management processes and procedures.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems.
  • Monitor and review internal control systems.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports on governance and risk management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and review performance of governance and risk management activities.
