About the role

This role is responsible for the efficient and safe warehousing of raw materials and packaging, their movements to production execution and in the transportation of finished goods, including Kerry-managed / 3PL operations. Stakeholders you will be working with:
  • Internal Kerry Customer Service team
  • Material Call-off team
  • Quality Control team
  • Purchasing team
  • Warehouse Drivers and 3PLs
Office location: Second Industrial City, Jeddah - Jazan Highway

Key responsibilities

  • Plan labor and timing of activities.
  • Plan and receive incoming materials, packaging and related activities.
  • Dispatch finished goods to domestic and export markets as appropriate.
  • Measure incoming delivery performance.
  • Relocate and store inventory within the warehouse.
  • Monitor Cycle Count / Stock-take / Non-Conforming Stock.
  • Maintain plant and equipment used in warehousing activities.
  • Pick & Pack materials called in for the Job Order for production.
  • Invoice / Manifest / Dispatch customer orders.
  • Execute and document the return of goods.
  • Work with 3PL warehousing arrangements / providers / performance.
  • Implement general Occupational Health & Safety (EHS) in Warehouse and Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Warehousing Practices.
  • Order consumable materials for warehousing activities as appropriate.
  • Check warehouse-related invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors by ensuring timely creation of GRNs.

Qualifications and skills

  • Preferably a Diploma/bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline.
  • Preferably 5 years of working experience in Logistics / Warehousing in a supervisory capacity.
  • Good to have experience from Food Manufacturing or Chemical Process industry.
  • Good to have people management experience in a direct capacity - handling performance management, training, and development of employees.
  • Preferably has technical understanding of OHSAS 18001:2007, AIB, ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, GMP, HIRAC.
  • MS Office and work systems experience essential.
  • Knowledge of SAP in Warehousing and Logistics is a plus.
  • A good command of English, both written and oral, is essential.
  • Possess strong leadership skills.
  • Should be able to make decisions quickly and effectively – must be organized and self-motivated, demonstrating strong initiative.
  • Must be able to multi-task in an environment with changing priorities.
  • The ability to interact socially and technically with internal teams to ensure all problems are corrected on time.
  • Good work ethic & time management skills.
