Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Specialist with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to across all operations. The HSE Specialist will work closely with teams to identify, assess, and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Job is based in Al Qassim Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and workplace safety protocols.
Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies to reduce accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.
Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE best practices, emergency procedures, safe equipment usage, and environmental sustainability.
Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe behaviors to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure proper reporting and documentation of HSE incidents, including maintaining detailed records of inspections, audits, and safety violations.
Assist in the development of emergency response and contingency plans, ensuring all staff are trained on emergency procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, air and water quality standards, and hazardous material handling.
Work closely with other departments to ensure that new projects, operations, or processes comply with HSE standards and minimize risks.
Track and report key HSE performance metrics to senior management, identifying trends and recommending areas for improvement.
Ensure that all necessary safety equipment is provided, maintained, and used properly by staff and contractors.
Stay up-to-date with HSE regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends to ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) role, preferably within industries such as construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national HSE regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other applicable standards.
Experience with HSE risk assessment, hazard identification, and the development of safety and environmental protocols.
Certification in HSE-related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001) is highly preferred.
Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools for tracking incidents, inspections, and audits.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees and management at all levels.
Ability to conduct training sessions, safety drills, and presentations on HSE practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in environmental sustainability programs and initiatives.
Knowledge of international HSE standards and practices.
Experience in managing or coordinating HSE audits and inspections.
First Aid and CPR certification.
