Women's Healthcare Specialist - Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist to provide expert medical care at Bahrain Specialist Hospital. This position involves specializing in women's healthcare, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions affecting women throughout their pregnancies, childbirth, and postpartum periods. This role requires extensive experience in gynecology surgical procedures, including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and ectopic pregnancy treatments. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecological issues in patients.
2. Provide comprehensive care to expecting mothers throughout their pregnancies, during childbirth, and postpartum periods.
3. Perform gynecology surgical procedures, such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and ectopic pregnancy treatments.

Requirements:

1. A strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology, with a minimum of MBBS and Doctor of Surgery (MS) (Gynecology) qualifications.
2. Hands-on experience in gynecology surgical procedures, including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and ectopic pregnancy treatments.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
