Director Software Development Execution Systems (w/m/d)

Take the lead of our global MES team and drive the development of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES)! As a leader, you will collaborate with strategic external partners, help shape the future of our front-end production system and foster a culture of agility within your team of 25 experts. Join us and leave a lasting impression on our operational processes! Job Description In your new role you will:

• Responsible for the core MES team (approx. 25 employees) for all front-end locations globally
• Stakeholder management with our strategic external partner
• Active co-design of the Manufacturing Execution System FrontEnd (MES roadmap / target production system)
• Further development of the team with a focus on an agile approach
• Safeguarding ongoing operations (incl. crisis management)

Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Completed studies in the field of IT or related courses of study
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in a production environment
• At least 3 years of management experience with your own team
• Confident appearance and presentation skills towards the management board
• Very good language skills in German and English
