Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer

As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in our creative team, contributing to advanced retail projects that showcase our strategic approach to design. We seek an experienced individual with extensive design knowledge and the ability to bring creative concepts to life. Position: Interior Designer – Senior or Intermediate SLD seeks a talented, experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality designs across various projects, including retail, hospitality, and banking projects. You will collaborate with diverse clients, manage complex projects, and build strong relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and Ideate: Work directly with the VP of Branded Environments to brainstorm, develop concepts, and execute designs. Prepare renderings and presentation materials to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, coordinating timelines and requirements to ensure timely delivery.
• Strategic Design: Sketch and conceptualize designs, providing strategic design rationale for all creative decisions.
• Design Production: Leverage your thorough understanding of contract documents, fixture/millwork design, and signage experience.
• Quality Control: Maintain the quality, accuracy, and code compliance of all contract documents produced in the design studio.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design from an ARIDO-accredited post-secondary institution
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years (intermediate) / 8 years (senior) of professional experience in interior design, with proven expertise in delivering design projects from concept to completion.
• Technical Skills: You should have a Deep understanding of AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Keynote or PowerPoint. You should also know about the Adobe Creative Suite. You should have an excellent understanding of the Building Code.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
