Responsibilities:

Assess patient care requirements and plan nursing care accordingly.
Review patient history through medical files and questionnaires.
Measure and document vital signs, updating patient files as needed.

Implementation:

Perform IV cannulation with precision, ensuring proper site selection and functionality.
Ensure patient comfort, including the use of warmers when necessary.
Explain procedures and provide instructions to patients and their escorts.
Calculate the appropriate imaging time following injection.
Document the visit and update patient information in the system.
Resolve patient issues using a multidisciplinary approach.

Evaluation:

Evaluate patient conditions and ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring outcomes against goals.
Promote patient independence by setting care goals, educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care, and answering any questions.

Additional Responsibilities:

Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment by adhering to policies and regulations and seeking assistance when necessary.
Protect patients and staff by following infection-control protocols and safe medication administration practices.
Order medications and manage the crash cart inventory.
Monitor the temperature of injection rooms.
Manage and organize the storeroom, ensuring adequate inventory of medical items.
Communicate with medical suppliers for necessary orders.
Assist colleagues in administrative tasks such as data entry, medical insurance claims, and documentation.
Oversee waste and laundry management.
Manage ERP systems effectively.
Ensure weekly and annual calibration of medical devices.

Training & Skills:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Strong planning, scheduling, and monitoring capabilities.
Expertise in IV access and cannulation techniques (required).
Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective solutions.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Active license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing from an accredited institution.
Registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification accredited by the Saudi Heart Association.
