Job Title: HSE COMMUNICATION OFFICER Reference Code: OG-7004369 Company QatarEnergy is an integrated national oil corporation that stands at the forefront of efforts for the long-term sustainable development, utilization, and monetization of oil and gas resources in the State of Qatar. They include the exploration, refining and production, marketing, and sale of oil and gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas liquids (NGL), gas to liquids (GTL) products, refined products, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel, and aluminum. QatarEnergy's operations and activities are conducted at various onshore locations, including Doha, Dukhan, and the Mesaieed and Ras Laffan Industrial Cities; and at various offshore areas, such as offshore oilfields production stations, drilling platforms, Halul oil export island, and the North Field, which is the largest single non-associated gas reservoir in the world covering an area of 6,000 square kilometers. QatarEnergy pays the utmost attention to the health and safety of its employees, contractors, visitors, and the local communities where it operates. From drilling to construction, operations to decommissioning, QatarEnergy's health, safety, and environment policy forms an integral part of the corporation’s daily business and long-term planning. Department CORPORATE HSE & QUALITY Primary Purpose Of Job Execute corporate HSEQ communications requirements including all related copy, communications, as well as any required systems, processes, performance measures, and improvement strategies. Ensures that QatarEnergy HSE communications and associated processes are in line with QatarEnergy HSE policies, senior management expectations, and QatarEnergy strategic business objectives, and are also aligned with PR Department Standards. Experience & Skills
- Min 5 years' experience in communications strategy development.
- Proven experience as communications specialist.
- Experience in web design and content production is a plus.
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Knowledge of HSE practices.
- Content writing experience for all media platforms.
- Proven social media and networking expertise.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical related industries or similar would be an advantage.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office 365, and related business and communication tools.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Solid understanding of project management principles.
- Full Time Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline is required.
