About The Role We are growing our Transport Planning teams based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and we are looking for a Transport Planner to assist with the delivery of projects across the Middle East region from either one of these two locations. Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Be the point of contact for the client; address all needs and queries from client.
- Responsible for the management of project finances and budgeting.
- Manage sub-consultants.
- Contract management and ensure invoices are issued in compliance with the agreed terms.
- Responsible for the management of junior team members: conduct team resourcing meetings, ensure projects are properly resourced and team members are sufficiently occupied.
- Mentoring and training other team members.
- Review the work of others on project deliverables; regularly monitor project deliverables.
- Assume project leader role on medium-sized projects, and assist project leaders on large projects.
- Identify opportunities, create follow-up work and develop proposals.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline; a Master's in Transport Planning and Engineering would be advantageous.
- Prior experience as a Transport Planner in the areas of transport planning/modelling/engineering in the UAE.
- Membership to a relevant, recognised professional institution would be a distinct advantage.
