Undertaking land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners.Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS (geographic information systems) programs.Reporting back/writing reports.Making use of geographical information systems (GIS) to analyze and interpret site features. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.Producing detailed information (subsequently analyzed by planners, builders, and cartographers).Interpreting data using maps, charts, and plans.Utilizing data from a range of sources, such as aerial photography, satellite surveys, and laser beam measuring systems.Keeping up to date with new and emerging technology.Education and Professional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Geomatic Engineering, or a related field.Minimum (3) years of experience in geospatial engineering, with a focus on surveying, mapping, and geospatial data analysis.Strong knowledge of surveying equipment, such as GNSS receivers, total stations, LiDAR scanners, and UAV systems.Proficiency in geospatial data processing software, such as Trimble Business Center, Pix4D, ArcGIS, and QGIS.Familiarity with geodetic datums, coordinate systems, and map projections.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
